Tru Organic is a collection for Asda’s new clean beauty brand. Targeting towards
a new demographic that is more like an average person than high income consumer without compromising on the promise of quality organic, vegan, clean products.
Creating a brand image revolving around the natural fragrances, and the transparency of how each product is made gives customers piece of mind when choosing the product, knowing instantly that what they’re buying truly is clean beauty.

Working through a handwritten-style yet legible typeface for the brand identity paired with a simple yet effective patterned background to strike the perfect medium between a sustainable, high-quality product, while still giving the desired feel for the right audience.
Tackling this challenge by myself within a short timeframe forced me into making an efficient and intelligent brand identity. This led to a patterned approach to the packaging and the use of consistent features on each product to keep a sense of cohesiveness across the range while also giving a unique personality and fragrance for each product.
